With the rise of AI, global digital data is becoming seamlessly interconnected, enabling borderless communication through the high-speed transmission of massive volumes of information. These advances are transforming not only our daily lives and industries, but also the very structure of society. At the same time, pressing challenges, such as environmental protection and energy conservation, demand urgent solutions. Addressing these issues has made the role of Platinum Group Metals (PGMs), which we have researched and applied since our founding—more vital than ever.

Guided by this principle, we continue to unlock the potential of precious metals through our technological expertise. In particular, we focus on the outstanding functionality of Iridium (Ir) and Ruthenium (Ru) among PGMs, working to expand their applications. While PGMs are highly effective in supporting environmental measures and energy efficiency, their production is concentrated largely in South Africa. Securing a stable supply chain is therefore essential for broad industrial use. To this end, we have established reliable procurement routes from major South African mines and built an integrated system spanning high-purity refining, product processing, and recycling and refining. This system not only ensures the stable supply of our products but also plays a critical role in addressing the needs of an advanced information society.
Our products serve a wide range of fields, from electronic devices such as hard disk drives, semiconductors, smartphones, OLED displays, and touch panels to medical equipment including cancer diagnostic systems, as well as chemical catalysts. We also actively recycle PGMs to maximize their efficiency and value. Looking ahead, demand for our technologies and products is expected to increase further in areas such as next-generation communications, autonomous driving, electric vehicles, and hydrogen production. We see it as our mission to meet this growing demand, and to help build a sustainable social infrastructure that enables the effective utilization of rare precious metals.
